Riding school - Ponies
Children from the age of 3 are welcome
A pony is a lovely companion that allows the child to express his emotions and encourages his development. It helps the child to grow in confidence and autonomy, he/she gradually becomes responsible in contact with a living animal. The practice of a sport in the open air favors physical development. Teaching of pony-riding completes the learning process at school: respecting instructions, body awareness, sense of direction, group life, respect for the environment and learning the values of sport and respect for the animal.
In addition to weekly group lessons, rides and activities are organized throughout the year (Halloween, Christmas, Shrove Tuesday, Easter, etc.) We also welcome children during the school vacations for theme courses with or without exams at the end of the week.
We welcome children from the age of 3 in our establishement, perfectly adapted to safe practice.
En parallèle des cours collectifs hebdomadaires, des promenades et des animations sont organisées tout au long de l'année (Halloween, Noël, Mardi Gras, Pâques, etc.).Nous recevons également les enfants pendant les vacances scolaires pour des stages à thème avec ou sans passage d'examens en fin de semaine (Galops).
Pony riding
We attach great importance to safety, fun activities and evolution of the children's levels. We offer quality lessons with qualified instructors who have a great knowledge of the equestrian environment and of children. Lessons are given in groups of riders of the same level, at fixed days and times every week. It is possible for the riders, according to their progression and their wish, to take proficiency tests (Federal Galops). Our horses are perfectly trained and are selected for their good temperament.
The facilities are adapted for young children in the best conditions. A space is reserved for them in the Club House for theory lessons and snacks. A preparation room specially dedicated to the ponies contains all the equestrian material that the children may need. A secure area is dedicated to grooming the ponies. The calm and green setting of the structure offers very pleasant conditions for the practice of an outdoor sport. The site has a direct access to the forest, which allows for beautiful hacks in complete safety, without having to cross a road. Fully enclosed riding arenas of various sizes provide optimal practice areas for all levels of riders. We also have a covered arena which is very useful in case of bad weather.
Riding courses
During the school vacations, Equi-Normandie offers theme- courses for the younger riders (Indians and cowboys, pirates of the Caribbean, Unicorn Pony, etc.). They participate in the creation of an equestrian show in connection with the theme which will be presented on Friday afternoon.
